About the Artist

This is a drawing of me as done by my friend and fellow Fayetteville artist, Sarah Levine.

"It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a sick society." -Krishnamurti

I'm a passionate artist that is inspired by music, nature, the human figure, and geometric design. I'm well-rounded in wet and dry media, my main focus being pen and ink, markers, and watercolor. I am also extremely proficient in Adobe Photoshop, and currently honing my skills in Adobe Illustrator.

After passing through Studio I, II, IV, and AP Studio, I graduated from Fayetteville High School in 2009 and was offered a scholarship to attend Kansas City Art Institute, but I decided to stay in my hometown of Fayetteville, AR for financial and personal reasons. I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Arkansas and my major is Art Education, though my dream job is to work in graphic design, designing and illustrating album art and posters for musicians or causes and events, or writing and illustrating my own books.

My work has been exhibited in the Fayetteville Public Library several times through the FHS art program, and at the Gregg St and Crossover Arsaga's locations. My work has also been on the cover of the public library's literary treasury "The Wanderer," and featured in the Morning News newspaper and the acclaimed FHS literary magazine. Recently I was commissioned to do the album cover for a friend's band, Rough Draftz, which is now available on iTunes and Amazon! Dream come true! (Get Rough Draftz' album here.)

In addition, I've been featured in two local art exhibitions (so far): a solo show at Sound Warehouse in Fayetteville in May of 2011 and a group show of all-female artists called "Do You Want to Go to the Bathroom With Me?" at JR's Lightbulb Club in Fayetteville on December 29, 2011.
As of now I am open to commission work of any kind. If you like my work, please feel free to email me, I work cheap and I'd love to hear some feedback!
